PRIVATE TOURS
Private tours, tailormade for your special requests
If you have an opportunity to take a private tour, what would you like to do ?
Sometimes travellers just want to have the guide/driver on their own, others maybe want to do something special.
Maybe a day of photography would be something for you.
Visit a site of special interest or hiking.
Ideas are endless Art, food, activities and culture
Slow travel are enjoyable - that is when we plan a trip with the possibilities for extra stops.
Iceland is a large country
We know how long it takes to drive between different locations.
We will tell you if an idea is possible or not.
Here is a list of our most popular tours.
1. The golden circle
2. South coast and waterfalls
3. Snæfellsnes peninsula
4. Reykjavik seightseeing
5. Borgarfjörður
City seightseeing followed by a tvo hours hike
We love to spend time out in the nature,so a few of our personal favourite things to do is
hiking, photography, painting and guiding of course.
We would like to take you with us on slightly different tours.
For example, a city seightseeing followed by a tvo hours hike. This tour would last from 09:00 to 15:00 an exellent halfday possibility where you still have som time left for shopping.
The hike/walk
The hike/walk could either be in nature near Reykjavik with opportunities for overlooking the city or a walk in the city viewing statues or buildings.
It is up to you, we will bring you there.
The concept, adding hikes/walks (2-3 hours) in daytours, can easily be done with almost ever tour.
We just have to plan ahead and prepare. F.ex. Hikingboots and coffee.
Different ideas
Sometimes families or groups has different ideas of what is fun to do.
If you have an photographer in your family, you know that it can be difficult to mix that interest with other things.
Since we are two guides/drivers it would be possible to f.ex. leave the photographers at one site and bring the rest of the group to another location where they could do something else. Horsbackriding, hiking, exploring, painting or swimming...Of course the groupmembers would still need to be flexible , but this would give you and your group more fun and interesting experiences to discuss over dinner in the end of the day. More fun brings more joy, and that is always good, is´nt it?
